What to Know Before You Ride
Lucky 7 Stables has tame and mild-mannered horses available for guided horseback trail riding here in Southern New Hampshire. Come ride with us on one of our scenic 5-mile 1-hour guided horseback trail rides. Trail riding is fun for the whole family and no experience is necessary.
- Riders must be 8 years & older (no tandem/double riding) and a parent or guardian must authorize all riders under 18 years of age to ride.
- Weight Limit- We have two horses that can accommodate riders up to 275lb. If you are at that weight and want to ride, please let us know when booking.
- Shoes or sneakers required (no bare feet, sandals, crocs, or flip-flops please).
- Trail rides go out year round, seven days a week by appointment.
- Trails go out every hour on the hour from 10am to 5pm- with the exception of 1pm as that is our horses lunch break.
- Reservations are not required but you run the risk of not being able to go as we have a limited number of horses.
- Our max group of trail riders is 7 people per trail.

Rain/Inclement Weather Policy
Trails may be cancelled for inclement weather. Inclement weather is may too cold, too hot, or unsafe weather conditions. Temperatures dropping to 23 degrees Fahrenheit make it unsafe for our horses to do the trail rides. Temperatures reaching 94 degrees Fahrenheit are too hot for our horses to safely preform their jobs on the trails. We deem unsafe weather as when there is lightning and thunder, or winds above 25 mph. Any time we cancel due to weather or similar circumstance we will call to notify. If you would like to cancel for any circumstance, please give a 24-hour notice to avoid a late cancelation charge.
Walker Policy - Effective 8/5/2025
We’re happy to be able to offer on trail accommodations for those who may be nervous or disable to help everyone be able to ride. A member of our staff will walk the trail ride next to the customer. If you need those accommodations, please let the office know at the time of booking or check-in. There is a $5 surcharge.
Reservation Policy - Effective 5/10/2025
All reservations will require a valid Credit Card. By making a reservation you consent to possible charges for “No Showing” and “Late Cancel”. If at the time of booking no deposit info is left with the reservation; it will be held for 24-hours to allow for a call back to give deposit info. After 24-hours with no deposit info on the reservation, the reserved time is forfeited. If you need to cancel for any reason 24-hour notice is required to avoid a late cancelation fee. “Late Fee” Cancelations with less than 24-hours’ notice will incur a charge of $50.
“No Show” Reservation that are not upheld by the customer will result in a charge of 50% of total cost of the reservation that has been booked.
